Tom Powell is an experienced and qualified outdoor adventure guide. He has worked around the UK developing his skills in climbing, bushcraft, survival, and coasteering. Tom’s real passion comes from helping others to find their courage and confidence. Tom is a Master Practitioner in Neurolinguistic programming (NLP), Hypnotherapy, and trains in Non Violent Communication (NVC). Tom blends the use of modern coaching techniques and skills, elements of mindfulness practice and adventurous activities to assist others in having empowering breakthroughs. The most important focus for Tom in all his work is that adventurous activity is used in a way that increases mental well-being and provides a global awareness. Tom keeps his group size small so that every course he runs he can focus on the power of personal development and help every individual achieve their full potential. Tom specialises in assisting people who have fears, phobias and anxieties so that they can quickly learn to relax and enjoy activities and environments that have otherwise been unavailable to them. He also runs retreats and adventurous journeys alongside Will The Adventure Coach allowing people to discover more about themselves and develop skills through exploring the natural environment whilst taking part in a journey. Tom is a dedicated rock climber who has been climbing for well over 10 years, he coaches climbing skills and techniques and focuses on helping people to increase their mental performance whilst climbing. This is sometimes called Head Game coaching. Tom travels the world seeking climbing challenges and adventure, although more than anything he loves the chance to be free in the great outdoors.
