Walking the narrow footpaths among the olive groves all the way to Lakones village where we follow the direction towards the beautiful town of Aggelokastro. After we visit Aggelokastro, we are heading west via remote trails as we meet the beginning of the old Venetian footpath which will gently take us all the way down to the stunning Agios Georgios bay, ready for a relaxing and refreshing swim.

Transfer by mini-bus to the start of the walk. We'll start walking towards the Agia Triada Monastery which is located at 450m elevation, enjoying the views towards Albania and the most north-western Greek islands of Mathraki, Othonoi and Erikoussa. Starting our descent, we pass the quaint village of Nymfes and visit the waterfalls and the surrounding area. Afterwards, we visit the abandoned Monastery of Askitario and the cave of the hermit which are located next to the village. On the final section of our day, we will make our way towards Sfakera village through the footpaths of the slopes of the mountain. A mini-bus will pick us up and transfer us to our accommodation, where you can relax and unwind after stretching your legs all day.

Day 4

Afterwards we will start walking via dirt tracks till the Rekini crossroad, where we enter the western slopes of the mountain Pantokrator. We will start gaining altitude by walking under the tree arches and via the lime stoned footpaths, reaching the village of Vallanio. We then follow the dirt tracks along the olive groves towards the footpaths which will guide us to Sokraki village and cross the woodland which takes us to the village of Spartylas. A mini-bus will pick us up and transfer us to our new accommodation in Kalami bay

Day 5

Todays an early start. We'll hop in the mini-bus and transfer to the beginning of the walk. We'll start walking and gaining altitude till the beginning of Pantokrator’s plateau and Taxiarchis Chapel with its frescoes and magnificent views. Crossing the karst plateau, we head towards the peak of the mountain via rocky footpaths, under oak trees, along bushes and herbs. After reaching the peak, we will head down towards the village of Old Peritheia and visit the abandoned village which holds the mountainous character. We make our way down and off the mountain by following the footpaths of its north side, all the way to the sea level and the Almyros beach, the northern beach of the island, where a mini-bus will transfer us to our accommodation.

Day 6

We start walking from Kalami bay and follow the coast line northwards. We pass consecutive little bays with beautiful views towards Albania. The footpath narrows and we find ourselves moving on the coastal outcrops before we reach Agios Stefanos bay, an excellent resting place. After a nice and restful refreshment, if you prefer to extend the walk then you can pick up the footpath again and enter Erimitis natural area or head back to Kalami. Alternatively, you can choose one of the optional activities (not included) that north-east can offer, such as kayaking around the bays or horse riding in Erimitis area! This win-win situation guarantees an enjoyable afternoon for everybody.
